Training of the Trainer (TOT) in Suicide Prevention

This Training of the Trainer (TOT) training will be held in-person, on Friday, May 19th, 2023 from 8:30AM – 1:30PM in 226 Peabody Hall at Husson University, 1 College Circle, Bangor, ME 04401. This half-day training is available to Gatekeepers interested in facilitating a 60 to 90 minute Suicide Prevention Awareness Session for co-workers and/or other community members. These awareness sessions are required by state law for all school staff members. By attending the Training of the Trainer (TOT), your school district will be equipped to provide these trainings as needed when new staff are brought in and when previously trained staff is prepared for a refresher.  Easy-to-use packaged materials will be provided.

This training is offered under a contract from the Maine CDC.

Prerequisite: Completed Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training
