CAMS Preventing Suicide Training with NAMI Maine

*Registration for this online, self-paced course is open through September 30th, 2024, and participants will have 60 days to complete the course upon receiving access to the portal.

NAMI Maine offers free access to the CAMS Foundational Video Course, featuring Dr. David A. Jobes, creator of CAMS. This 3-hour course showcases CAMS in action through 12 sessions, emphasizing collaborative assessment and treatment for suicidal patients.

Ideal for healthcare and school clinicians, including but not limited to social workers, counselors, psychologists, and crisis providers, this course covers suicide drivers, lethal means reduction, CAMS Stabilization and Treatment Plans, setbacks, and alternative techniques.

The first 400 registrants receive a hard copy of Managing Suicidal Risk, A Collaborative Approach, 3 rd Edition by Dr. Jobes.

After registering, participants will receive an email with directions regarding accessing the training via the CAMS-care portal within 2 business days.
