Dear Community Members,

It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce a significant transition within our organization. Greg Marley, our Senior Clinical Director for Suicide Prevention, has decided to resign and embark on a new journey.

Greg has been an invaluable member of the NAMI Maine family for the past ten years, dedicating his time, expertise, and compassion to serving those in need, especially in the critical area of suicide prevention. His tireless efforts have left a lasting impact on our organization and the community. We are immensely grateful for his years of service and the profound difference he has made.

As we bid farewell to Greg, we will be announcing a new director for the Maine’s Suicide Prevention and Postvention services by October 1, 2024.

We are confident that under new leadership, NAMI Maine will continue to uphold its mission of providing vital support, advocacy, and resources to those in need within our community.

Please join us in expressing our deepest gratitude to Greg for his dedicated service. Together, we remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting mental health awareness, preventing suicide, and supporting those affected by mental illness.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration during this transition.

Warm regards,
Jennifer Thompson
