SUMMARY:Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training
DESCRIPTION:This Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training will be held on April 9\, 2026\, from 8:00am to 3:00pm in the Gyger Room at Greely High School\, 303 Main St.\, Cumberland Center\, ME 04021. \nExpanding on the fundamentals of suicide prevention\, such as basic information about suicide\, when and how to ask someone if they’re thinking about suicide\, and resources for help\, this full-day training includes information on responsibilities and required actions when a person is identified as being at risk of suicide\, including basic assessment and management of a suicidal crisis\, safety planning\, and what to do in the event of a loss. \nThis session satisfies the state requirement for staff members to receive full-day training on suicide prevention and intervention. \nREGISTER HERE: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/040926GKCumbMSAD51 \nFor questions\, please contact Mary Gagnon at mspp@namimaine.org or (800) 464-5767 ext. 2318.
