CAMS-care: Preventing Suicide – Foundational Video Course (Self-Paced)

CAMS Preventing Suicide Training with NAMI Maine

*MAINE SPECIFIC Registration for this online, self-paced course is open through September 30th, 2024, and participants will have 60 days to complete the course upon receiving access to the portal.

NAMI Maine offers access to the CAMS Foundational Video Course to clinicians* serving residents of the state of MAINE and working in healthcare or school settings.

Featuring Dr. David A. Jobes, creator of CAMS, this 3-hour course showcases CAMS in action through 12 sessions, emphasizing collaborative assessment and treatment for suicidal patients. This course covers suicide drivers, lethal means reduction, CAMS Stabilization and Treatment Plans, setbacks, and alternative techniques.

The first 400 registrants will receive a hard copy of Managing Suicidal Risk, A Collaborative Approach, 3rd Edition by Dr. Jobes. To receive your copy, please include your full mailing address in the registration form below.

Within 2 business days of registering, participants will receive an email from CAMS-care with a link to access the CAMs-care portal and complete the training.
